Cuttings now have the capability to provide the complete service in terms of Surge Protection.

With a new division being created under the stewardship of Adam Howard, we can now provide everything that's needed for compliance with BS EN 62305 Part 4 in terms of surge protection consultancy, design, supply, installation and maintenance.

Located in Kent, the project involves 373MW of solar and over 150 MW of battery energy storage capacity. Cleve Hill is expected to generate enough renewable power each year to meet the power needs of over 100,000 UK homes and help reduce carbon emissions by 164,450 tonnes every year, according to the developer.

The large-scale of the hybrid project is set to provide a meaningful contribution to improving energy security for the United Kingdom and further decarbonize the power grid, helping to progress the country's journey to net zero, the company adds.

Sitting within the picturesque South Downs National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex, the King Edward VII Estate is taking an exciting step forward as it breaks ground on its next phase. The development features outstanding homes, surrounded by 165 acres of unspoilt private grounds, Gertrude Jekyll designed gardens and woodland, just under an hour from London.

These exceptional new State Apartment properties will offer new residents the chance to invest in state-of-the-art, design-led homes, with all the trappings of modern convenience, including triple glazed windows, integrated Siemens appliances, with an upgrade option, matt flat panel kitchens as standard and lavish bathrooms with Villeroy & Bosh sanitaryware. Originally constructed between 1901 and 1906, the King Edward VII development main building, originally known as ‘The King’s Sanatorium’ was built in response to King Edward VII’s visit to a tuberculosis sanatorium while touring Germany, after which he instructed the construction of a British version in the heart of rural West Sussex.

The original Sanatorium site, which officially opened on 13^th June 1906, was chosen as a place for rest, relaxation and recovery for those suffering with debilitating diseases, perfectly situated on a bright, south-facing hillside with open views to Sussex’s South Downs.

Following the eradication of tuberculosis, the sanatorium was transformed into a modern hospital, caring for all types of illnesses, eventually closing its doors in 2006. In 2009, City & Country acquired the Estate, with the aim to meticulously return it to its former glory.

Totalling 5.5 acres, the £1.5b St John’s Wood Square development will see the transformation of the site previously occupied by the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, along with properties at 1-7 Queen’s Terrace, into a super prime residential development in central London.

The development comprises a total of 179 new homes, including 11 townhouses, 109 private and 59 affordable apartments, spread across nine buildings ranging in height from three to six storeys. The works also include for the sensitive restoration of the Grade II listed Riding School building, preserving the heritage of the site.

Multiplex, which has been working with St John’s Wood Square Development Limited under a pre-construction services agreement (PCSA) since September 2023, has now been appointed to deliver the shell and core scope for the development.

The development will provide over 150 bespoke apartments with 30% affordable housing and additional commercial space.

Historically the site was home to the Coliseum Theatre which was first built in World War One before being closed due to war-time conditions. The building was converted into a machine shop before being demolished to build the Adur Civic Centre.

This development will be a key building within Shoreham and will link the town’s historic assets with the more contemporary sites.

The architecture of the proposed development is influenced by neighbouring buildings, in particular the industrial/wharf buildings which are located at the south of the site. Care has been taken to ensure that the materials used will reflect the character and context of Shoreham.

The KPF-designed life science building has been granted planning approval, increasing the program diversity in the London business district.

The 23-storey tower features flexible workspace that can host a variety of businesses, with a special focus in life sciences such as biotechnology, genomics, and medical tech. In an article announcing One North Quay’s planning approval by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Shobi Khan, Canary Wharf Group’s Chief Executive, said “The next chapter in the evolution of Canary Wharf is well underway with the next generation of health and life science companies set to become a significant presence in our sustainable, mixed-use environment.”

Due for completion in 2027, the project will be the largest commercial life sciences building in Europe. Michel Leemhuis, boss of Kadans Science Partner, the developer of One North Quay, shared, “In addition to its scale, location and technology, this building sets a new benchmark in its field for sustainability.”
