Serving the needs of the South West, Wales and the West Midlands - Cuttings West offers the design, supply, installation and maintenance of Lightning Protection and Specialist Earthing systems. Engineers and staff are locally based to provide effective and efficient solutions.

Also the hub for the newly added provision of rope access for installations using IRATA certified engineers.

Our Western Team

Sam Dawson

Divisional Director

Sam entered the Lightning Protection field in 2008 and has since gone on become both highly qualified and experienced, gaining his NVQ3 in Lightning Protection and has safety qualifications with the SSSTS certificate and IOSH Managing Safely. He is also qualified to IRATA Level 3 for rope access, IPAF for mobile platforms and is accredited for LP design by our trade association ATLAS.

Sam joined us in 2020 as Divisional Director of Cuttings West.
