It's great to be working back at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew!
Having undertaken a site wide programme to risk assess and install lightning protection to all relevant buildings at the site between 2012 and 2014, we are now back on site as the term maintenance contractor and are subcontracted on the ISG refurbishment of the impressive Temperate House.
The Grade I listed building is the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, and twice the size of the Palm House. It houses an internationally important collection of temperate zone plants, including some of the rarest and most threatened. Currently closed for restoration, it will reopen to the public on 5 May 2018.
